Next Gen Creators is hosting ReInvent Hacks, a virtual hackathon. This year, in response to the global pandemic, we are dubbing this event as, "Corona Hacks" to bring together some of the world’s most talented problem solvers focusing on creating innovative solutions to help reduce the impact of COVID-19. Over the period of 4 weeks software developers/engineers/designers and youth involved in the industries listed below from the Caribbean, Pacific, Africa, and the Commonwealth, will create solutions based on one of six themes.
Themes:
- Healthcare
- Business and Commerce
- Governance and Rule of Law
- Food and Water Security
- Tourism
- The Creative Industry
Reinvent Hacks will be hosting a series of webinars, keynote talks, and think tank sessions to drive solutions and conversations on this issue as well as create solutions to problems that may arise in these areas.
This initiative plays a key role in the ongoing campaign for Digital Literacy for underrepresented youth worldwide and aims to highlight the digital divide between developed and developing areas. For more information, you can visit:
